Certified Organic. Medium plus bodied and dry, with dark dried earth and dark fruit, cherry cola, plum skins, and cherry medicinal notes, with medium acid and a dry powdery grip. 100% Tempranillo. Avg vine age: 30 years. limestone/clay soils. Here the vineyards experience a push-pull between the cool, humid Wind from the Atlantic and the heat of the Levant Wind that comes from North Africa. The result is a large diurnal temperature fluctuation that favors slow ripening and perfect formation of the phenolics. All fruit is hand-harvested.
