Nice black cherry color. Expressive fruit, blackberry and redcurrant notes. Rounded, harmonious palate with supple tannins. Nice structure. Melted tannins, fresh finish on red berries. Hand harvested into crates of 10-12 kg each, so as not to bruise or damage the bunches and then handsorted at the winery. The crushed grapes are cold-macerated in their juice for a week before the fermentation begins to concentrate the aromas and the colour. After a slow fermentation at 25°c for 1 month, 10% of the cuvee is barrel aged to bring a subtle oak influence to the final blend.
