Est 1945 by Marcel Gitton with barely one acre, the Gitton Père & Fils estates today cover thirty hectares, situated amongst the best areas of the region. Now the property is managed by Marcel’s son, Pascal and his wife Denise. They have become notorious over the years for its respect of traditions, an approach that shows a deep reverence for the terroir. With soils rich in flint and different types of chalk, these wines, sterling examples of the best the Loire region has to offer and are completely estate bottled, with the nuances of each plot respected.
