Il fauno di Arcanum displays a dark ruby color in the glass with vibrant red fruit aromas ofpomegranate, cranberry and tart red cherry on the nose. Hints of green olive, cedar, pencil shavings andsandalwood envelop aromas of lavender, anise, ground clove and kirsch extract. All of these flavors cometogether on the very firm palate with a satisfying amaro-like bitterness. The finish begins with the sweetflavors of raisinated fruit, but quickly gives way to an old world pedigree of firm tannins and mineral-drivencharacter, speaking firmly of its Tuscan origins.
