Did You Know	Located on the western edge of Lodi's Mokelumne River sub-appellation, Bare Ranch is home to 170 acres of Michael David Winery vineyards. In the heart of these vineyards remains a historic 8 acre block of the original plantings of old vine Zinfandel. Planted on its natural root in one of the sandiest locations in Lodi, these extremely deep rooted vines struggle to produce a meager 2 tons to the acre. The bright berry fruit and peppery finish exemplify some of the iconic notes the west side terroir is known for.
