The grapes for the Scooter come from the biodynamic Gemtree vineyards. They have partnered with us for 9 years, and grow their grapes according to the Marquis Vineyard Watering Program. The grapes were harvested on 24th March. We used 90% American and 10% French Oak when fermenting and maturing the wine and it has developed a lovely silky texture and velvety tannins. Plump, spicy and generous, with ripe currant fruit and notes of savory red pepper and pink peppercorn adding to the supple finish.
