Intense ruby color with violet highlights. Ripe red fruit aroma, plumbs, and dried figs over a chocolate background, with firm tannins. A distinctive expression of tannat, this grows in clay-limestone soils in Caneiones, a district within Uruguary. It's a delicious wine with ripe red fruit held in an imposing structure. Like all tannat, it's built on a sold base of tannins, here melding with firm acidity that makes it virbant maket for roast lamb.
