This region produces some of California’s biggest and burliest Zinfandel’s that pulls no punches, all too fitting characteristics for this wine. Coming from a 5 acre, 87 year old dry farmed Zinfandel hilltop vineyard off Ridge Road in Amador County. Blackberry jam in a bottle! Balanced , deceptively masculine; the attack is a spot on fusion of fruit with just enough tannin on the aftertaste. The finish slathers on the jam with a deft hand!
