The grapes for this Gigondas comes from 35 to 40-year old vines. The final blend is 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah that is ages in small to moderately sized barrels for additional character. It offers up attractive scents of balsam wood, soy, black cherries, pepper and subtle spicy oak. It's a medium to full-bodied wine with silky tannins.
