“Auslese”, German for “Pick of the Crop”, references the winemaker’s nod that these Riesling grapes make the finest of Riesling wines. Focused nose shows sweet melon, lemon and some minerals and spice, but slightly sweet. The palate is rich and viscous, yet still fresh and transparent.
