Dark garnet color, with coffee and ripe plum, and hints of prune on the nose. Full-bodied, with beautiful fruit and very silky tannins. Plenty of scorched earth on the palate from the very beginning and more fruit as the wine opened up. Some soft and fine tannins appear at about 90 minutes in the decanter.
