The color of this wine is a deep ruby red. The nose is full of toasted oak, bacon bits, soft black cherry, coffee and vanilla. The palate is nice, although fairly simple. The acidity is perfectly balanced. Black cherry, plum and subtle cassis flavors make up the fruit on the palate. It's almost jammy, with soft tannins and a lingering finish.
